So apparently our baby doesn't know that the doctors put his due date at last week. So here we are on Veteran's Day 11/11/2012 and still no baby! On the bright side, my mom has been in town cooking up a storm! We have some fully cooked meals in the freezer ready to thaw and heat up. We have some partially prepared meals that need just a little "fresh" prep and will be ready to go. We also have some cooked meat in the freezer ready to thaw and put in a Hamburger Helper. Ammon's specialties include Hamburger Helper and Mac N Cheese, so we'll probably be eating a bunch of that once the baby comes.
I originally wanted to induce this weekend, but my doctor was out of town and would not induce while out of town. He also doesn't induce on Sundays or on holidays he doesn't work; which means I have to wait until Tuesday to start this thing going! We were all hoping Glen Curtis would decide to come on his own, but as it is 10:15pm on Sunday night, I don't see that happening.
On another bright note, at least Glen's Aunt Alene will be back in town! She really wanted to be around to come to the hospital and see him, and now she will be able to! Yeah!
