Glen's baby blessing outfit was a hit! I took a cue from Adrianne and had Ammon's mom make Glen's blessing outfit out of the skirt and train from my wedding dress. There was even enough material that she cut out a baby blessing dress for a girl, should we ever need one. Glen was so cute in his little tux!
It was so nice to feel the love and support from so many people! In Glen's baby blessing circle was his dad, his uncles: TJ, Brandon, Sean, and Jay, his grandpas: Carl and Alan and his great grandpa Burtenshaw. We had 4 generations all in one place! What a legacy!
After the blessing my parents hosted a luncheon at their rental! What a spread! Thank you to everyone who helped out and brought food!
I loved that we didn't feel the need to rush around doing things, even though that would have been fun, too! We did get to see the Hole in the Rock in Papago Park as well as the Children's Museum in Phoenix. I was able to test out our baby carrier: works great!
It was sad to see everyone leave: I had to go back to work. With much anxiety, I did go back and now I only have 10 more weeks until summer! Waahoo!!
Aren't families the most amazing blessing we have been given. They are our greatest challenge, greatest growth, greatest support, and greatest love. I am so blessed by all of Alan's and my families and the additional families that are a part of my children's lives and so, also part of mine. I am rich beyond measure.
