Stay tuned for the Vacation

Vacation! Wow! I haven't had one of those since last July when I went to Belize. I think I have forgotten what that word means. . .

Ahh . . . The idea of not going to work or school at the same time, what would it be like? . . . One can only dream . . .

Actually Shari and I are really looking forward to our 2 and 1/2 week trip. We should be leaving on Memorial day and we will make Grpa and Grma Burtenshaw's house in St. George home base for a couple of days while we take some day trips up to Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion's National Park. We then will migrate farther north to the Provo/Salt Lake area where we hope to spend and afternoon with Sean Woodland and do some touring of Salt Lake when its not full of thousands of "pesky" Mormons gathered for General Conference.

Next stop will be a week stay at Island Park and Yellowstone enjoying the "winter weather" (being as we will be well into the 100's in AZ as we are already starting to see them regularly) some fun activities and some much needed "down time". Not to mention a first anniversary celebration (I know, can you believe we have already been married for an entire year? Crazy!).

On our way back from Island Park, we will do a drive through Teton National Park to see the other side of the Grand Tetons from where we are staying in the condo as we head back to Rexburg and Idaho Falls to see family for a couple of days before beginning a two day drive all the way back to AZ. [It is a good thing that I have a couple of vacation days after we get home to recover from our vacation :) ]

You will have to check in while we are gone as we hope to do some posting about our trip while we are in Island Park.

In the mean time I still have three essays for school to write and a move from our apartment into a house all to be completed within the next week, and Shari is preparing to give finals at work and help me finish off the packing as she finished school last week. Lots to do, so if we can find the time we might be on again before we leave for our trip.
