Ammon decided to try trees again in the backyard. He has spent the last few weeks, a few hours a day, working on the tree wells in the back yard. Let me tell you, the one that is done is WAY better than the way it used to look. We have purchased two Ficus trees to plant int he back yard. The Nursery was having a Buy-One Get One Free sale! So we bought two mature trees that we will hopefully be able to keep alive and help mature even more so we have a wonderfully shaded back yard. Ammon was being camera shy, so no pictures of him, but here's the current tree well! One more to go before the trees get delivered on Feb 23rd! So excited!
Here is the brick walkway between the porch and the tree well. Ammon put the BBQ grill out here when he uses it...yummy!
Here's the best view of the tree well. The bricks are just high enough that will work as a bench as well!

WOw, you guys are brave, trying trees again! Good luck! I do really like your tree wells, it will be nice to have some shade on your patio.
