CA Vacation Days 11-14

Tuesday was a relaxing day.  Glen woo-ed everyone...again. He's such a ham.  He fell asleep in the car on the way home from lunch and woke up to be smiling baby.

Got a fun pedicure for the 4th of July!

Wednesday was a fun day! Glen got to enjoy the piano a bit!

 After it cooled down a bit we went outside and played in the pool! While we were outside, Brandon, Maggie, Alyse and Grace arrived at the house! Derek went to Oakland to pick them up from the airport! The traffic with the BART strike made the drive home long, but they made it! Sean is coming in on Friday and Ammon is coming on Saturday. Then we will have everyone here!!

Thursday was the 4th of July! What a fun day!


We had a BBQ of cheeseburgers and chicken and veggies and salads! What fun! Aunt Nancy and Uncle Marciel came down too!

After dinner we put the kids to bed and watched the fireworks from our loft.  My mom, Maggie, and Brandon even went out on the roof to watch them! The fireworks were being shot off on our side of town this year, so it was very easy to see them.  We had a great time! And, all three kids slept through it! They even slept through the neighbors shooting off really loud things as well!

Friday was a nice lazy day.  I read my book, did a bit of laundry, and hung around the house with the napping kiddos while everyone else did errands and got things done.  I guess someone has to have the "hard" job of watching the kids!
We did get outside for hide-and-seek with Derek and Glen watching the action!

 My mom picked up Sean today! Now we're only missing Ammon and he should be here tomorrow! So excited!
