Sick at home.

Yep, this seems like the year that I can't stay healthy! I'm sick at home--again! It started Monday night with me feeling exhausted. I thought it was allergies, but when I woke up many times during the night with a stuffy nose, sore throat, head ache, and sore muscles I knew I was done for. I got about 4 hours of sleep and when Ammon's alarm went of at 5:30 am, I just started crying. There was no way to survive the day. I asked ammon for a blessing and 4 times I was counseled to make wise decisions in the activities I do today so I can let my body heal. The Lord knows I'm stubborn and wouldn't listen unless told multiple times! I didn't have any sub plans for my classes, so I went to work. I got in the car and my gas light went on. So I drove to the neighborhood QT and proceeded to fill up. However, my Debit card was declined! I couldn't believe it! That's never happened to me before! I thought maybe I was just putting in the wrong pin (since I wasn't feeling very well and the pin had just recently been changed). So I went into the gas station to pay by credit card, but that was declined too! So I went back to my car, tried another pin and didn't work. So finally I called Ammon, who is a wonderful husband, and he came with his card and paid for my gas! By this time I was in tears again! What a morning, and I'd only been at it for an hour! (well, not including the sleepless night).

So I went to work where I put together sub plans, got math teachers to cover each of my classes, taught my first hour, went to the fire drill during second hour, filled out paper work for a meeting I would be missing after school today, then came home. I got home about 9:30am and went straight to bed. I slept. It was great! I slept off and on for about 3 and a half hours, felt much better but needed more water and meds, so I got out of bed and here I am. Hopefully I will be well enough to go to work tomorrow. I also have my master's class tomorrow after school. Big day! It's a good thing I'm taking it easy today! I even had to call Susan (my friend from CA who lives here as well) and tell her that I couldn't watch her son tonight. They've just moved into a new house that they're renting and wanted help with the baby so they could unpack. She understood, but I'm sad I don't get to see him tonight!
