2009 Ultimate Staycation Project completed!!!

Okay, so this has been a major project and I am FINALLY DONE!!!

It was much bigger than I anticipated when I started, and Shari has left this one for me to do. Most of it got done between the bachelors and masters degrees, but as you can see, finding time for this has not been easy (17 days of travel and 24 or 25 posts of information). Especially since we now have a little one that is way more fun than doing homework and of course doesn't allow time for finishing any project. Being that I have two weeks before my last night of class (yeah 4th of July on a Thursday!), did not feel like doing homework, and have no baby at home (in California) to distract me, I thought that I would finally get this wrapped up so you all could enjoy it and so that Shari and I can remember the fun times that we had on this wonderful trip touring the Rocky Mountains on our First Anniversary, four years ago! Hope you enjoy. (I did not want this to interrupt Shari and Glen's CA trip, so you will have to go back to 6/22/13 to enjoy this adventure.)

The educational sections at the end of posts (or sometimes as their own post) were done with the purpose of providing teaching opportunities for our children in regard to history and geology. Hope you find this a helpful resource for teaching your kids cool science and history!

Note: when you get to the bottom, just click "Older Posts" to keep going. (Apparently Google only allows a certain amount of material on a page)
