Day 7 – Sunday May 31, 2009 - Day of Rest.
Today was our 1st Anniversary. Happy Anniversary Babe! We slept in and missed the local branch meetings so we spent the day just lying about. It was hard at first because I don’t think I have had a day like that since we got married; actually it’s probably since December that I have had a day where I have had no school, work, church, or family responsibilities. It was a great day though, and other than lounging about talking. . .
We did actually get hailed on some this day . . .
For some of you this may not be all that impressive, but when you live in AZ and this is the 3rd time in your life that you have seen Ice fall from the sky, it is an amazing site. Especially since it is the 31st of May!!

Shari and I also watched some family friendly movies on TV. I know, hard to believe, we actually watched some TV; and not just a DVD or VHS hooked up to the TV at home that is not hooked up to anything that allows reception, but real live television. Wow, we watched live television!
Spending time with my beautiful bride has been the best part of this trip and I hope we have many more relaxing and enjoyable anniversaries to come!
