On a separate note, Glen had his first major fall today. I put him down for his mid-day nap on the bed in our room and he looked like he was going to fall right to sleep. About 15 minutes later I heard a loud thunk and crazy crying. I knew what had happened. I have been thinking I shouldn't be putting him down for naps there any more because he's rolling and pushing and scooting. Did I listen to myself? Nope!
So I went in and comforted him. We rocked in his room for a bit. Then he fell asleep. I was slightly worried about head trauma, so was happy when he put up a fuss when I laid him in his crib. I let him sleep for an hour and then we played some more. He seemed a bit more fussy than normal (which is pretty much saying he was fussy. He normally doesn't cry at all). He looked ready for his afternoon nap about a half an hour early, so we read books and sang songs and put him to sleep at 2. At 2:30 he woke up...not normal. So I gave him his bink and his blankie and he went back to sleep for another 2 hours! He woke up a happy baby! He's now happily playing in his play pen, that is after he downed a 6 oz bottle!
I love my little man! I also love my little man's daddy! Last night Ammon was helping Glen with his bath and I couldn't help smiling to hear the two of them playing together! Ammon is such a great father! Love you, Ammon!
