Day 16 – Tuesday June 9, 2009 – Idaho Falls, ID to St. George, UT

As Ivy was getting ready for work, you’ll never guess what happened. The nurse became the patient. I came down with what Ammon had a few days before and needed Ammon to clean up after me. Ammon suggested staying another day but I said, “No, we’re going home.” So we bought some Peptol-Bismal tablets and I chewed my sickness away as we made the drive to St. George stopping often so I could use the restroom or walk around to get rid of the nausea. The highlight of the trip was talking to my mom on the phone while driving through Salt Lake where there was an accident. When we got to St. George, Grandpa and Grandma Burtenshaw fed Ammon, I was still on liquids only, and we all watched Oklahoma then went to bed.
